LINX is a unique implantable device that is composed of multiple magnetic beads that are strung together with a titanium wire, resembling a beaded bracelet. The device is positioned around the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which is the source of reflux issues.

The LINX device will keep the LES closed with the strength of its magnets. This prevents the acid and bile within the stomach from flowing into the esophagus, where it can cause pain and damage the lining of the esophagus.
